Honoring Our Heroes 5K Run Returns to East Meadow April 4
The Eisenhower Park 5K returns to East Meadow on April 4, 2026. County Roofing Systems supports local Nassau County community events across Long Island.
The Honor Our Heroes 5K run is back on April 4, and if you’re looking for a reason to get outside this spring, this is a good one.
It’s one of the first big community runs of the season in Nassau County, and it draws a solid crowd every year.

Event Details
The race starts at 8:30 AM at Eisenhower Park, Field 2 in East Meadow. Wheelchair and hand cyclist starts begin five minutes earlier at 8:25 AM.
There’s also a Kids Fun Run kicking off at 8:00 AM, which makes this a legitimate family outing if you’ve got younger ones who want to be part of the action.
